A native daughter of Inglewood, CA
Rya Thomas quickly learned life’s highs and lows during her earlier years. Part of that guidance included hard work and independence exemplified by a single mother. Pushing past her days falling in love while attending St. Bernard High School in nearby suburb Playa Del Rey, Rya earned her B.A. in Communications with an emphasis in radio, television-film while minoring in Theatre Arts.
Later getting her size-ten Jordan 10’s through the door, by way of Streetlight’s Production Assistant Training Program, the newly made parent of a nine-month-old daughter Ruby continues to soar higher within the film industry. These accomplishments include countless commercials, music videos and television shows from “Germany’s Next Top Model” to Beyonce’s award winning visual album “Lemonade.”
